Line segment crack recovery from incomplete boundary data

Résumé

Inverse geometrical problem of detecting and locating cracks in a material by boundary measurements was demonstrated. Partial boundary measurements of a solution to the Laplace-Neumann problem were used. Constructive approximation techniques and localization algorithms based on boundary computations of the reciprocity gap were also used
