Cooperative structures and critical functions to deliver resilience within network society

Résumé

Stating that our world is more and more susceptible and ever-evolving network, the authors propose a distributed mechanism – the Hubmaster – to strengthen its resilience. It will improve the management of crisis in key areas of dynamic mapping, continual learning, risk taking and decision-making. It will be a complement to the needed new resilience culture that encourages constant awareness and investigation of the network, a willingness to share and refresh knowledge and continuous readiness to take community action.
