An efficient multigrid solver for incompressible fluid problems: Application to the 3D hot forging process

Résumé

In the 3D forging simulation context, a new multigrid solver is proposed. It is derived from earlier work in the elasticity frame. It is based on an Orthomin solver, using the Galerkin condition and embedded meshes. The multigrid solver is developed with two mesh levels. Then, a three-grid method is developed and finally the first tests in forging frame are presented.
