Purity predictive model-based control of oxygen vacuum swing adsorption process

Abstract : The paper deals with both dynamic modeling and control of the oxygen vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) process. This process is well known for its batch-like operation and inherent non-linearities. The main objectives are to establish a robust dynamic model and then to demonstrate the practical application of a purity predictive model-based control to this industrial system. Experimental results point out the efficiency of the proposed strategy.
