Automatic Variogram Fitting

This paper describes the new Automatic Variogram Fitting procedure regarding the internal programming, as well as the options that are avail- able to the user. This procedure optimizes a set of quantities (optionally lying between lower and upper bounds ) : this is conditioned by several parameters and several flags. The main difference between the parameters and the flags is that parameters are intrinsic to the optimization procedure whereas flags are only relevant for the optimization applied to the Automatic Variogram Fitting. Ultimately, this paper describes the Model fi tting in the scope of the Local Geostatistics where the Automatic Variogram Fitting procedure is called several times.
