Knowledge formalisation with the language UML to support forest fire behaviour modelling

Abstract : We present the knowledge formalization for forest fire behaviour modelling. The UML modelling language was used to model the process of experiments in a natural field. A general structure of an information system from data measurements realized with UML is presented. A prototype of a knowledge management, MODELLIS, was elaborated to support modellers in the management of data from experimental sites.
