Power System Synchronism in Planning Exercises: From Kuramoto Lattice Model to Kinetic Energy Aggregation

Résumé

In order to assess the stability of the synchronous state of a power system, we introduced a dedicated description of the grid based on the Kuramoto model. We derived a coherent approach suitable for long-term power systems analysis and implemented in the case of the French Reunion Island.
