La contribution des associations de patients et d’usagers à la démocratie sanitaire

Abstract : The contribution of patients’ and users’ associations to health democracy . Since the Kouchner law of 2002, health democracy has transformed the governance of the health system. All too often, however, institutions bypass patients’ and users’ associations on the grounds that they are biased and therefore unrepresentative. However, thanks to the surveys they conduct among the people concerned, associations are able to identify and discuss problems that professionals are unaware of. In this way, they contribute to health democracy.
