L’écoute musicale : « couteau-suisse » du musicothérapeute en pédopsychiatrie

Abstract : Music listening is a very important part of my practice of music therapy with children suffering psychiatric disorders. The theoretical model of Michel Escande attributes various functions to music listening : function of containing, of screen, stimulation, emergence, a bodily function, and intermediary object. They are adapted depending on the therapeutic goals. We will illustrate them with clinical examples, highlighting the versatility of this essential and dynamic tool.
