Abstract : The profession of music therapist involves today a particular positioning, benefiting more than empirical representations in force in centuries and earlier to our societies. When it comes to the national recognition of such trade, the injunction given by Governments in most countries of the world, and of course in France, is based on the notion of evidence: we must demonstrate the effectiveness of music therapy at the means of currents techniques, and in particular those proposed by neurosciences.Can we reconcile the approach of research concerning the effects of music on the human brain, and the necessary requirement for the therapist to keep his professional identity of the therapeutic relationship officer? In this text we present different devices for music therapy in us referring to a few different theoretical models.
