« Musicautism », une étude clinique sur l'autisme et la musicothérapie

Abstract : The music therapy uses sounds in the aim to get in touch with another person, express feelings, and to construct his personality. Although, literature about it is increasing, therapeutics process are less studied. So, do the meeting between autism children and malleable medium understand his psychological reality? What are therapeutics effects and processes in music therapy? What are the main components of the music therapy go to the therapeutics effects ? In coordination with the « Centre Hospitalier de Nantes », « l’Institut de Musicothérapie de Nantes » and partners institutions, this study is made with two children groups (N=6) aged between 4 and 7 years old and diagnosed Autistic Spectrum Disorders. With the Esther Bick’s observation method, observations reveal a process chronological shared by childrens from a sticking process phase, lack of differenciation between yourself and others to an exploration of outside world, group, others and a relaunch of symbolization processes. This observations lead hypothesis about therapeutics processes music therapy : music therapy lead a constitution of psychic envelope facilitated by elements of sonore malleable medium. The processus of symbolization are facilitated too by the music therapy.
