Etude numérique de jets d’air horizontaux et de la brumisation en vue de leur couplage pour le rafraichissement d’enceintes habitables

Abstract : This study is composed by two parts: On one hand, the horizontal submerged cold air jets. We show the limits of commercial fluid mechanical codes in simulating strong non isothermal free flows, and we propose a calculus protocol to be able to use the unsteady results obtained with this type of code. This method gives the coefficients which simply represent non isothermal horizontal submerged air jets behaviour, in various flow configurations. These relations can be included in simplified codes, zonal type for example. On the other hand, we make a brumisation cloud model to predict the effects in a confined enclosure. A parametrical study provides the good zones for evaporative cooling, and a simplified dense cloud model is proposed to be integrated in a zonal model. Then, an outline of the couple of the brumisation with an horizontal jet as a carrying flow is sketch, to confirm the interest in pursuing the researches in this way.
